END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

Effective Date: June 17, 2026

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Finder (“Finder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your use of the Finder mobile application, website, software, and related services (collectively, the “Application”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree to this EULA, do not download, install, or use the Application.

This EULA supplements and incorporates Finder’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.


1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and any applicable payment obligations, Finder grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to:

  • Download and install the Application on devices you own or control;
  • Access and use the Application for your personal or authorized business purposes;
  • Use available features and functionality provided through the Application.

This license does not transfer ownership of the Application to you.

Finder and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Application.


2. Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights

The Application, including but not limited to:

  • Software code
  • User interface
  • Design elements
  • Graphics
  • Logos
  • Branding
  • Features
  • Documentation
  • Improvements
  • Updates

is owned by Finder and protected by copyright, trademark, intellectual property, and other applicable laws.

You acknowledge that you receive only a limited license to use the Application and do not acquire any ownership rights.


3. Restrictions on Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute the Application;
  • Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or transfer the Application;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to access source code;
  • Create derivative works based on the Application;
  • Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
  • Use the Application to develop a competing product or service;
  • Circumvent security features or access controls;
  • Use automated methods to extract Application data;
  • Use the Application for unlawful purposes.

Any unauthorized use may immediately terminate your license.


4. User Content

Finder allows users to create, upload, store, and manage personal inventory information, including:

  • Item details
  • Photos
  • Notes
  • Tags
  • Location information

You retain ownership of content you submit.

You grant Finder a limited license to store, process, and display your content only as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Application.

Finder does not claim ownership of your personal inventory information.


5. Updates and Modifications

Finder may provide updates, upgrades, patches, bug fixes, improvements, or new features.

You agree that updates may:

  • Modify existing features;
  • Add new functionality;
  • Remove outdated features;
  • Require installation to continue using certain functions.

You authorize Finder to deliver updates through applicable app distribution platforms.


6. Third-Party Services

The Application may rely on third-party services, including:

  • Cloud hosting providers;
  • Authentication services;
  • Payment processors;
  • Analytics services;
  • App marketplace providers.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and policies.

Finder is not responsible for third-party services, availability, performance, or actions.


7. App Store Terms

If you download the Application from:

  • Apple App Store;
  • Google Play Store;
  • Any other authorized marketplace;

you acknowledge that:

  • This EULA is between you and Finder, not the marketplace provider;
  • The marketplace provider has no obligation to provide support services;
  • The marketplace provider is not responsible for the Application;
  • Your use may also be subject to marketplace rules.

Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA where applicable and may enforce their rights under this agreement.


8. Subscription Features

Certain features may require a paid subscription.

Subscription terms, pricing, renewal periods, and billing conditions will be presented before purchase.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled according to the applicable marketplace rules.

Finder does not control billing policies of Apple, Google, or payment providers.


9. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINDER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

  • MERCHANTABILITY;
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT;
  • ACCURACY;
  • RELIABILITY;
  • AVAILABILITY.

Finder does not guarantee that:

  • The Application will always operate without interruption;
  • Errors will always be corrected;
  • Data will never be lost;
  • The Application will meet all user expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINDER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Loss of data;
  • Loss of inventory information;
  • Loss of profits;
  • Business interruption;
  • Property loss;
  • Indirect damages;
  • Incidental damages;
  • Consequential damages.

Your use of Finder is at your own risk.


11. Termination

This license automatically terminates if:

  • You violate this EULA;
  • You violate Finder’s Terms of Service;
  • Required by law;
  • Finder discontinues the Application.

Upon termination:

  • You must stop using the Application;
  • You must delete the Application from your devices if requested.

Sections relating to ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.


12. Export Compliance

You agree not to use or export the Application in violation of applicable laws, regulations, or restrictions.


13. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable Canadian federal laws.

Any disputes shall be subject to the courts located in Ontario, Canada.


14. Changes to This EULA

Finder may update this EULA from time to time.

Updated versions will be made available through the Application or website.

Your continued use of the Application after changes become effective means you accept the updated EULA.
